I was born (1965) and raised in Yonkers, New York. I taught classes in Electronic Music, Music Theory, Sound Recording, Jazz History, History of Rock and Roll and Classical Music History at several community colleges near Phoenix Arizona. In addition to teaching and performing I recorded in a home studio and released my first CD, “In With the Old, In With the New” (1995). In 1996 I moved to Eugene, Oregon and taught guitar at Lane Community College. In 1997 I started a collaboration with Grammy Winner Mason Williams which led to my second CD release “Obras, with special guest Mason Williams”. From 2008 to 2009 I lived in Buenos Aires Argentina for over a year and then lived there for six months per year for another eight years. I recorded an album of Argentina and Latin music with seven Argentine musicians titled “Con Los Porteños” (2012). One of my earlier recordings “Milonguea del Ayer” became a huge hit in the Tango Dance communities all over the world.
